Broom Making Starts Here - Harvesting Our Broomsticks
Seth Harman Co-owner and broom maker at Backwoods Broom Company   As we start the new season and it is beginning to warm, now is the perfect time for us to harvest our supply of broomsticks for our handmade brooms. We harvest our broomsticks in the woodlands of the pacific northwest, and then we stack and kiln dry them to be used for future wood carvings and handmade broom handles!  This is rough terrain!
